Katie Smith, D.V.M

In December of 2006 we were very fortunate to add Dr Katie Smith to our veterinarian family. She graduated with a DVM from Colorado State University in 1998 and began practicing in San Diego, California at a large referral and emergency hospital. In late 2006 Katie and her husband Mark decided it was time to move back to the Boulder area where she grew up. They share their home with Wallace, an Irish wolfhound/lab mix that they adopted when he was two.
When she isn’t helping our "furry friends", Katie spends time cycling, kayaking, hiking and gardening. Her secret wish is to spend her retirement on a small farm with a pack of 4-giant breed dogs, 2-large breed, 2-medium, and one small (the boss), a few cats, some chickens and a donkey.
