Amy VanDeventer, D.V.MAmi is one of our Associate Veterinarians and has been at LFAH since 2003. She is originally from Virginia and graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Nutrition. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. Following her graduation she practiced in Virginia for two years before moving to Colorado spending six years at Boulder Emergency Pet Clinic. Ami and her husband Matt share their home their dogs Reed and Emma, and two cats Blue & PC. Ami and Matt enjoy spending time outdoors backpacking, rock climbing, skiing, and traveling. Ami personal hobbies include making pottery, reading and most recently bee keeping!
